Purpose of the Job

Working with senior leadership to run recruitment operations, deliver training, resource output monitoring and people analytics, cohort management, and instigate partnerships with organisations to siphon human resources.

Context and Environment

Acme AI is an on-demand image annotation service provider and AI solution developer operating from Bangladesh. We support development of artificial intelligence systems in the space of retail automation, autonomous vehicles, healthcare, geospatial imagery among many more with a focus on computer vision-based labelling operations. Our primary business is developing and delivering training datasets essential for machine learning models – a simple yet labour-intensive task which requires significant manpower support. 

‘People’ are the most important component of Acme AI’s operations – especially contract annotators. As part of the Human Resources and Administration cell, we expect you to support and manage frequent recruitments, high-impact trainings which cultivate annotators, monitor daily output of annotators and derive quantifiable benchmarks on performance, manage cohort of a large pool of annotators, drive partnership dialogues with tertiary training institutes, and maintain excellent documentation and reporting standards along with administrative tasks if and when required by Acme AI. As a start-up, we are continuously evolving our workflow to understand effective utilization of business processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruitment Operations

  • Run full-cycle recruitment operation for Acme AI and our mother organisation, ACME Technologies
  • Adopt skills to make modifications to website and career page along with abilities to make creative assets for calls for application
  • Disseminate calls for application at high-traffic groups, professional networks or sites – maintaining corporate brand a tone and voice as appropriate
  • Schedule tests and/or interviews for relevant roles for quality people sponsorships
  • Drive heuristic analysis per candidate for unbiased quantification of prospects
  • On-board and orient new recruits and manage equipment provisions

Certificate Programme Delivery + Cohort Management

  • Take ownership of Acme AI’s Cert I certificate programme in regards to its escalation and delivery
  • Deliver regular trainings to sizable cohort of applicants, at least twice a month – in both Bengali (for Bangladeshi audience) and English (for transnational iteration of the programme)
  • Update curriculum based on business needs and annotator performance of past trainings
  • Setup, organise, and schedule tests for trainees – maintaining an evolving pool of datasets which are given as final tests in random order
  • Graduate trainee annotators into certified annotator pool based on performance and suggest re-test and/or re-training
  • Maintain consistent communication with trainees and graduates
  • Maintain power ranking based on performance and publish it periodically – providing regular feedback to cohort underperformers
  • Follow-up on unresponsive certified annotators after graduation and keep cohort fresh and responsive to emerging business demands
  • Report on training revenue streams and potential escalation opportunities

Output Monitoring + People Analytics

  • Develop robust monitoring methods to detect performance parameters of the production and QA cell of Acme AI
  • Establish OKR-based performance reporting standards
  • Understand underlying reasons for overand underperformance
  • Take stock on daily output requisites for project operations and report on daily achievements based on targets
  • Assess individual strengths and assign quality and accuracy ranks based on historical performance data
  • Flag issues and/or achievements, and recommend actions for senior leadership

Partnership Development

  • Identify partnership opportunities in bundling training products to TVET and tertiary partner institutes or organisations
  • Spearhead conversations with technical training institutes and tertiary partners to adopt training products in their delivery mechanisms
  • Supervise people-centered partnership projects and maintain documentations
  • Organise contracted crowdsourcing specialists to meet monthly targets

EXPERIENCE + QUALIFICATION

  • Undergraduate from a business background, preferably majoring in HRM and/or relevant disciplines
  • We will also highly appreciate tertiary ‘certified’ courses undertaken from Coursera and edX
  • 5-to-7 years of professional working experience is necessary for applying to this role
  • Having worked with large youth groups or volunteers will be advantageous
  • Highly competent in spoken and written English; tertiary qualification certificates, such as IELTS, PTE, or TOEFL, with a minimum of C1-level scores will be advantageous
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and familiarity with Canva, any HRIS and CMS will be advantageous

WORKING HOURS

General work hours is 09.00 AM to 06.00 PM, from Saturday-to-Thursday.
